My friends are starting to have babies!

And they keep asking me questions about 6 week olds and 6 month olds and I can't remember!! How can something that was so important at the time not stay in your head??

I can only imagine Morgan as the way she is now. I just can't believe that she used to be this tiny little baby that couldn't even hold up her own head! It's crazy! She's only been able to walk for 9 months! But I can't remember a time when she couldn't.

I made this blog so I could remember all those details and reading back, I think it started well but has now mainly turned into a husband bashing blog. So gonna try and bring it back to what it was intended and post little and often about Morgan. 


She is a sassy 2 year old, who knows her own mind. Miss Independent, wants to do everything herself, until she can't and then it's "mummy do it" which was amazing the first time she said it... Not so much anymore 😅 she wants to walk everywhere! And will only get in "Oscars pram" (even though it's not Oscars, it just looks like his). 

She's just starting to string words together to form sentences and it's amazing hearing her speech develop so quickly! She repeats everything I say, so gotta start watching what I say! She can even count to 10! (with a little bit of help) 

She is a really good eater! Eats most things that are put in front of her. Absolutely loves beans and peas! Wolfs down anything with pasta. And has just learnt to say Pizza so wants that all the time at the min. Oh and is forever asking for milk and biscuit! Despite not drinking any milk for at least 6 months after I stopped breastfeeding! 

We haven't started potty training yet, but she is starting to show some interest in it. We will be taking it slowly! Not looking forward to shit on my carpet! Get enough mess on there from the dog being sick! 

She loves dinosaurs and baby and building a "big tower“ with any kind of blocks, especially magnetic ones! But mainly loves "wellies on!" and "outside!"

Im struggling. I can't decide what to be sad about. That's how shit things are right now.  I'm trying to be positive. To look forwards. But I am just so fucking sad. And I can't even do anything to cheer myself up because I'm soo damn pregnant.  Although not being able to drink 12 pints right now is probably a good thing. I hate being pregnant.

And even saying that makes me feel like shit. But I do. This is just gonna feel like one massive whinge but I'm just finding it so hard and it's making me feel like a failure for not being able to cope. I feel like it impacts everything. I just don't feel like myself anymore. I can't do anything I love doing or rather I don't love it the same.  The smell of everything is different. My dogs food makes me gag. The smell of our fabric softener is so strong, it's making me hate it. I seem to be able to smell everything really strongly and it just makes me feel so sick all the time.  The taste of everything is different. I don't like squash. Or anything to drink really. Anything I eat puts a horrendous taste in my mouth and makes me feel sick. But I also can't stop eating. I feel fat and like I look like shit all the time.  I have completely gone off tea and coffee. I want another baby.

(I wrote this a year ago and never published it... And now I'm 14 weeks pregnant... But I felt like I needed to post it before my next post)  Well I don't. I want 2 kids in my future and Morgan to have a sister. But the thought of going through the baby stage again fills me with dread. I didn't enjoy it the first time and the thought of doing it with a toddler in toe and a dog sounds beyond horrendous. But it is consuming my every thought. Having a second child is so much more logistical than the first. I am forever feeling like we need to make this decision almost immediately... I need to go back to full time to get a decent maternity pay... We need to make sure there's a space in Morgans nursery to accommodate that. How far in advance does this need to be? When do we take the plunge? Are we gonna start "trying"? Or just see what happens? Our life is fucking hard enough, will we survive this? Will I survive this? Is this really what I want?!
